No power or Low Batteries | Display will not light up or is shown | Batteries are exhausted, batteries are inserted incorrectly, the ac adaptor is inserted incorrectly | replace with new batteries, insert the batteries correctly, insert the AC adaptor tightly. |
E1 | E1 displays on the screen | The cuff is not secure or inflation is abnormal. | Re-fasten the cuff and then measure again. Ensure the correct port is being used. Check the cuff for tears. |

The monitor detects motion, talking or the pulse is not readable while measuring. | Movement can affect the measurement. Relax for a moment and then measure again. |
E3 | E3 displays on the screen | Check that the clothing between the cuff and skin isn’t too thick, if so, please remove the next layer. Ensure the Artery Marker is lined center of the arm and the cuff is about one inch above the elbow crease. Cuff should be loose enough to fit two fingers, no tighter, no more loose. | |
