For clinical staff or patients looking to familiarize themselves with the Pylo GL1 LTE blood glucose monitor, this video walks you through everything you need to know, from opening the box to taking your first reading and solving common issues.
It takes about 8 minutes to watch in full, and you can jump to any section using the chapter times below.
Video chapters:
[0:00] Unboxing: What’s included in the box and how to get your device ready for use.
[1:35] How to Use: How to take a reading, understand your results, and see how your readings are sent to your care team.
[4:37] Troubleshooting: Quick fixes for common issues, such as a device that won’t power on, error messages, or readings that aren’t transmitting.
What’s in the Box
Your GL1 LTE comes with your device, a lancing device, 2 boxes of lancets, 2 boxes of test strips, and 1 vial of control solution, and a user manual. Keep your packaging and user manual until you’ve confirmed everything is working properly.
How to take a reading
For the most consistent results, try to take your readings at the same time each day / under the same conditions, and make sure to use your device in an area with strong cellular reception, and closely follow all of the steps shown in the video when taking a reading.
Quick Troubleshooting
Many common issues can be fixed by resetting the device. If you see an error message, check the troubleshooting section of the video at [4:37] for what it means and how to resolve it.
